| I would support eliminating all direct taxes such as income taxes with a uniform indirect tax such as a national sales tax. A sales tax is self-limiting--people will automatically reduce spending when the taxes are too high. This will have the added benefits of abolishing the IRS and help to restore our right to our property and privacy rights at the same time. | |||
